Refund Policy

We want you to feel good about every dollar you spend on LighterHub. This policy explains how refunds work.
What's refundable
- Unused credits from a paid deposit are refundable for 14 days from the date of purchase. We refund the unused portion to the original payment method.
- Charges from a failed or degraded request — if our API returns a 5xx error or times out and your account was still billed, we refund the impacted spend on request.
- Duplicate or accidental charges — refunded in full.
What's not refundable
- Credits already consumed by successful API requests (HTTP 2xx responses).
- Promotional bonus credits issued during launch periods or referral campaigns. Bonus credits have no cash value.
- Credits in accounts terminated for violating the Terms of Service (e.g., abuse, fraud, prohibited content).
- Free trial credits — they were free.
How to request a refund
Email founder@lighterhub.app from the email associated with your account. Include:
- The Stripe receipt or your API key's email
- The reason for the refund
- Whether you'd like the entire remaining balance refunded, or a specific amount
We respond within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5 business days. Stripe typically returns funds to your card within an additional 5–10 days.
Chargebacks
If you have a problem, please reach out before disputing a charge with your bank — we will almost always resolve it faster directly. Accounts with chargebacks are suspended pending review.
